Admission and application

Admission requirements:

Completion of a domestic or foreign university degree with at least 210 ECTS credit points. At least one year of qualified professional experience. Language skills in English (B2).

The admission requirements according to the Bavarian Higher Education Act apply.

Admission option for a university degree with fewer than 210 ECTS credit points:

If you have a university degree with less than 210 ECTS credits or your degree is recognised with less than 210 ECTS credits, there is the possibility of up to 30 ECTS credits from qualified professional experience.

Applications for this degree programme are made online.

There you will receive all relevant information on the application formalities and have the opportunity to track your application progress online. The application period for the summer semester begins on 15 November, for the winter semester on 2 May of each year.

University entrance qualification acquired abroad

If the higher education entrance qualification was obtained abroad, a preliminary examination of the higher education entrance qualification by uni-assist is required.

Please note that it may take 4 to 6 weeks for uni-assist to process your application.

Study programme of the OHO project

This degree programme was developed in the first funding phase of the "Open University of Upper Bavaria (OHO)" project. In OHO, the THI and the Munich University of Applied Sciences are working together to make further academic education more attractive and accessible for people with non-traditional educational backgrounds through new, sustainable approaches. The project is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and the European Social Fund of the European Union

The MBA degree enables participants to actively exploit the increasingly rapid pace of social, technological and, above all, economic change as specialists and managers and to systematically develop the professionalism, organisational culture and maturity of their professional environment.
