The THI Doctoral School

The Doctoral School is the central point of contact for all enquiries relating to the doctorate at Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt. We guide prospective candidates for the doctorate, current candidates for the doctorate and supervisors through the entire process of the doctorate, promote academic exchange and provide support in the form of advice, training opportunities and networking opportunities.

As one of Germany’s leading universities of applied sciences in terms of research, THI offers outstanding conditions for excellent and practice-oriented research. With the doctoral centres for ‘Artificial Intelligence/Computer Science’ and ‘Engineering Sciences’, as well as joint doctorates with universities, doctoral candidates have a wide range of pathways to academic qualification at their disposal. The Doctoral School brings these doctoral pathways together under one roof and supports researchers and their supervisors throughout the entire doctoral process.
