Sustainability is one of the most important issues of our time. Whether in energy supply, construction, infrastructure or environmental management, there is a need for innovative solutions that combine ecological, economic and social considerations.

At THI, sustainability is not just a topic covered in individual degree programmes, but a central component of many disciplines. We are guided by the United Nations’ global Sustainable Development Goals and develop degree programmes that prepare students for the challenges of tomorrow.

Through the degree programmes in Energy Systems and Renewable Energies (taught in German and English) and the English-taught Master’s in Renewable Energy Systems, you will explore forward-looking technologies for sustainable energy supply, energy-efficient systems and the achievement of climate targets.

In addition, THI offers degree programmes that are unique in Bavaria: at the Neuburg campus, you can study Sustainability and Environmental Management or Sustainable Civil Engineering and play an active role in developing sustainable solutions for business, society and the environment.
